Economic challenges

I think

Financial inequality

the current economy is problematic because people of color traditionally do not have the same access to financial services or financial tools.

Financial resilience

to weather the storm.

Personal financial stability

I've been fortunate to have a fairly good savings of a pretty decent amount in my 401K, a good credit score, I own my own home, and so that I think kind of level sets me on a playing field with my non-people of color counterparts.

Worsening economic outlook

But I know by and large for my demographic, things will get much worse before they get better.

Rising costs & savings

The cost of food, the cost of fuel, the cost of repair to cars, services for the house, things like that are just going to go up in this current environment, which means my ability to save for my future is going to be limited.
